Minnie Holzberg, longtime resident of Duluth, formerly of Gateway Tower, passed away Oct. 3, 1998, after a short illness.

She was residing in Sholom Home East, St. Paul, at the time of her death. Minnie worked for 20 years at Zenith Interstate News and was a nanny for the artist Wally Flanders.

Minnie was preceded in death by her parents, Abe and Ann Holzberg; sisters Alice Shapiro and Libbie Sher; and her brother, Phillip Holzberg.

She is survived by a niece, Ruth Abramson; nephews Peyton Sher and Sylvester Sher; a special grandnephew, Jack Abramson; a special grandniece, Ghitiann Worcester; and several other grandnieces and grandnephews.

Graveside service was held Sunday, Oct. 4, 1998, in Adas Israel Cemetery, Duluth. Memorials preferred to Shalom Home East, 1554 Midway, St. Paul, MN 55108. Arrangements by Johnson Mortuary.
